Welcome to The Shampan - a unique concept in presenting the culinary delights of the Indian sub continent. The Shampan itself is a canvas boat found un rural rivers and typifies the authenticity of the food on offer here and encapsulates the cultural heritage that bangladeshies have brought to Britian.

The Shampan today symbolises to all sectors of Bangladeshi society the very essence of rural life. So much so that even the highest strata of the urban classes make their holidays to the countryside centre around the joy and fun to be had from Shampan. It is Asian equivalant of the gondola of Venicel.

The Menu contents have been designed to bring out the best Moghul traditions of the north Indian and Bangladeshi cooking and lies in harmony with the vast international experience of our Head Chef.

But no matter who you are, The Shampan's expereinced staff can guarantee meals and service of an exceptional standard. We're sure you won't be disappointed.
